Midland, Shropshire Area news
March area news
venue has changed to The Olde Boot still in Whittington,
which is convened on the first Wednesday in the Month.
Discussions continued regarding our annual June or mid
September trip, details to be discussed at our next meeting
in March.
We have an additional trip to those detailed in our web site
‘BMC & Leyland Show’ on 07 July at the British Heritage
Motor Museum, the range of activities are extensive on our
web site, Keep Checking for new listings!!!!
Discussions continued on the principle of meeting at different
summer evening venues e.g. along the River Severn
hostelries, to be agreed at the next meeting.
Late Winter work continues on our Triumphs
• Rewiring a superbly body off restored GT6
• Replacing a Lip Seal on the overdrive output shaft of a
Spitfire 1500
• Engine strip, Crankshaft reground, Camshaft failure due to
low oil pressure on Spitfire1500
• Replace gearbox with an overdrive version on Spitfire 2000
yes 2000!!!!!!!!!
